We offer weightlifting classes, programming and coaching for athletes, weightlifters and anyone who wants to get fit and have a go at weightlifting!
Canterbury Strength Weight Lifting Club is located close to Canterbury City Centre, within the sports facilities at Canterbury Academy and beside Canterbury's Lifestyle Fitness gym - check out the map at the bottom of this page and the 'Train Here' tab to see our awesome facilities!
At Canterbury Strength we want all of our members & visitors to have a great time, build an encouraging and supportive community, develop and learn about both themselves and weightlifting and do so in a safe and welcoming environment.
As coaches we aim to support you to reach your goals whatever they may be as well as help you to discover how many positives you can take from participating in weightlifting.
We run 6 x 1.5hr classes a week, for a maximum of 12 people per class.
Our 1.5hr Weight Lifting classes take place on:
Tuesday @ 18:30-20:00 & 20:00-21:30
Thursday @ 18:30-20:00 & 20:00-21:30
Saturday @ 10:00-11:30 & 11:30-13:00
FREE: T-shirt, welcome pack & fitness assessment
Online support: video analysis of lifts, help with goal setting, Facebook group
Discount & offers on classes, sports specific programming and 1:1 coaching sessions
